Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that changes the shape and aesthetical view of a nose. Some people have complaints about the unpleasant view of their nose; whereas the others have breathing problems. Both cosmetics rhinoplasty and functional interventions can be performed in the same session by the plastic surgeon. Although there are two approaches inluding open and closed rhinoplasty none of these methods has superiority over the other.
In our facility, Crisalix 3D simulation programme is recommended to the patients to give an idea about the post operative view. After rhinoplasty the recovery period including swelling around the nose may vary among the patients, however it generally lasts for couple of months.
